From 19th – 21st June, UCL researchers Sergey Martynov, Richard Porter and Haroun Mahgerefteh attended and presented at The 12th Trondheim Conference on CO2 Capture, Transport and Storage.

The UCL team presented the paper, “Estimating the Line Packing Time for Pipelines Transporting Carbon Dioxide”.

The team also chaired a session on “CO2 Transport by Sea”.

As a result, a correlation was proposed for estimating the line packing time for CO2 pipelines.

The conference had approximately 600 attendees from industries, research organisations and academia from around the world. The UCL team’s presentation was attended by approximately 100 people.
