The Horizon 2020 C4U project aims to demonstrate the feasibility of two new processes for the decarbonisation and upgrade of the Blast Furnace Gas from an integrated steel mill with CCUS.
The activity of WP3: Integration of CO2 capture technologies in steel plant focuses on the industrial applications, feasibility study and techno-economic assessment of the selected technologies and their improvement with respect to the state-of-the art. In this report the benchmark technology for CO2 capture from Blast Furnace Gas has been selected along with the main key performance indicators (KPIs) to compare the performance with the C4U technologies.
