Two new reports on pipeline safety and the impact of capture technologies

The C⁴U team has published two new technical reports contributing to the assessment of the key carbon capture, storage and transportation technologies the project aims to advance.

• The first report uses Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to assess the impact of the pilot implementations of the DISPLACE and CASOH C⁴U technologies at the technology readiness level (TRL) 7.
• The second report evaluates the impact of CO₂ streams impurities on the formation of solid CO₂ in pipelines for realistic venting decompression scenarios.
