The latest C4U General Assembly took place on the 12th and 13th of September 2023 in Ghent Belgium.
Hosted by ArcelorMittal Ghent, this was a very fruitful opportunity for the consortium to discuss the project’s progress and to update on the fantastic work from the different work packages. The consortium also toured the facilities of ArcelorMittal Gent and visited its Steelanol plant: a groundbreaking facility for carbon capture and utilisation, where carbon-containing gases from ArcelorMittal’s blast furnaces are transformed into bioethanol.
